Crown Nite ni adalah event terakhir daripada MSSCF (Malaysia Students Society of Cardiff) untuk ahli2 persatuan ni. Crown Nite ni diadakan untuk menghargai jasa2 ahli2 yang telah memberikan sumbangan sama ada sebagai committee, wakil sukan, volunteer Cardiff Games, FOD family dan sebagainya. So pada malam ni sijil penghargaan telah diberikan kepada ahli2 yang telah berjasa kepada MSSCF di samping jamuan makan malam. Malam ni jugak la yg menentukan berakhirnya tanggungjawab committee lama dan bermulanya peranan committee baru.

Paris Disneyland 2006

It's the 3rd day in Paris. We woke up early in the morning to make our move to the Disneyland Theme Park. The park is quite far from central Paris. We had to take the RER about 30-40 minutes to reach there. There were not so many people at the park that day, so there was hardly a queue at the entrance. We were given a park map, to help us plan and navigate through the park. I found the 3D show (Honey I Blew Up The Kids) quite interesting, as well as the Buzzlight Year's crazy space ride and the Wild West Runaway Train (I am sure this is not what they call it but it gives the idea). Later in the evening there was this parade of Disney's and fairy tale characters such as Goofy, Cinderella and the princess from The Beauty and the Beast. It was a very enjoying day. I felt like I was a child again

Unfortunate Robbers

Excerpt from an article about a bank robbery which appeared in the 'Dublin Times' in May, 1999:

Once inside the bank shortly after midnight, their efforts at disabling the internal security system got underway immediately. The robbers, who expected to find one or two large safes filled with cash and valuables, were surprised to see hundreds of smaller safes scattered throughout the bank. The robbers cracked the first safe's combination, and inside they found only a bowl of vanilla pudding. Asrecorded in the bank's audio-tape system, one said, "At least we'll get a bit to eat."
The robbers opened up a second safe, and it also contained nothing but vanilla pudding. The process continued until all the safes were opened. They found not one pound sterling, an Irish punt, a diamond, or an ounce of gold. Instead, all the safes contained covered bowls of pudding. Disappointed, the robbers made a quiet exit, each leaving with nothing more than a queasy, uncomfortably full stomach.

No longer safe eh?

I got this article from the Friendster's bulletin and thought it would be useful to share this alert with you guys.
This is pretty scary, in connection with the case on Ms Canny Ong who was raped and killed last year.
A friend stopped at a pay-at-the-pump gas station to get gas.Once she filled her gas tank after paying at the pump and about to leave, the attendant inside came over the speaker. He told her that something happened with her card and that she needed to come inside to pay.
The lady was confused because the transaction showed complete and approved. She told him that and was getting ready to leave but the attendant once again urged her to come in to pay or else. She proceeded to go inside and started arguing with the attendant about his threat. He told her to calm down and listen carefully: He told her that while she was pumping gas, a guy slipped into the back seat of her car on the other side and he had called the police.
She immediately became scared and looked out there in time to see her car door open
and the guy slip out. The report is that the new gang initiation thing is to bring back a woman's body part. One way they are doing this is crawling under girls/women's cars while they're pumping gas or at grocery stores in the night time.
Then, they will cut of the legs ankles to disable them in order to kidnap them, kill and dismember them. The other way is slipping into unattended cars and kidnapping the women to kill and dismember them. Be extra careful going to and from your car at night. If at all possible, don't go alone! This is real!!
The message:
1. ALWAYS lock your car doors, even if you're gone for just a second.
2. Check underneath your car when approaching it for re-entry, and check in the back before getting in.
3. Always be aware of your surroundings and other individuals in your general vicinity, particularly at night!
